This 302 cubic-inch small-block Ford V8 is rated at 361 horsepower and 334 lb-ft of torque, providing a practical combination of street performance and classic Ford V8 character.
The 302 Ford small block uses a new high-strength cast iron engine block with increased deck thickness, robust internal webbing, priority main oiling, and 4-bolt main caps. The engine is equipped with BluePrint aluminum cylinder heads and a hydraulic roller camshaft designed to provide a broad power range for street-oriented applications.
With a 9.4:1 compression ratio, the engine is designed to operate on 87-octane pump fuel. The rotating assembly includes a cast steel crankshaft and hypereutectic pistons, while the aluminum cylinder heads feature 60cc combustion chambers, 2.02-inch intake valves, and 1.60-inch exhaust valves.
